How to measure
Use a soft tape measure, keep it level and snug — never tight. Measure over light clothing or bare skin for the truest fit.
Clothing
Bust — around the fullest part, tape under your arms and level.
Waist — the narrowest part of your torso, tape a little loose.
Hips — feet together, around the fullest part of your hips.
Inside leg — inner thigh straight down to your ankle bone.
Shoes
Stand with your heel against a wall and measure from the wall to the tip of your longest toe. If one foot is larger, or you're between sizes, go with the larger size.
Lingerie
Bust — around the fullest part of your bust, tape level.
Under bust — directly under your bust around the ribcage — this is your band size.
Rings
Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps and measure that length — or measure the inside diameter of a ring that already fits.
Caps & hats
Measure around the widest part of your head, just above your ears and eyebrows, keeping the tape level.
Gloves
Measure around your dominant hand at the knuckles, excluding the thumb. Round up to the nearest size.
Belts
Measure around where you'll actually wear the belt — over trousers if that's how you'll wear it — then pick the nearest size up.
Tights
Tights go by height and hips together — measure the fullest part of your hips and match it with your height on the size grid.
